Chionged to Marina Bay to watch the Fireworks concert. i was greeted by a magnificent sight. Fireworks! They started to pop up in front of me. I've never seen fireworks at such a close distance (ever since the time i went to the National Stadium for the National Day preview)~ It was simply beautiful...
After catching up with 2 of my frens who darted across the road, wanting to catch a better glimpse of the fireworks, we made our way into the muddy and smelly concert area. Canvas covering the grounds reeked of a pungent smell (the whole place smelt like a dung hill >.<). Though we were outside the rock area, we managed to secure a barricade and relaxed ourselves till Mayday comes =)
They were the highlight of the whole concert (they always are). Emil Chau performed with them for a mo before they ended the concert with an encore track.
A piece of good news, MAYDAY'S HOLDING THIER CONCERT END OF THIS YEAR ON THE 10th OF DECEMBER!! =)

What a busy day for me. My schedule was lined up with project appointments, dance classes and most importantly, the concert.
i rushed over after my dance with Emelyn and met Meiyi and my Mom at Marina Bay. Many fans are already there and being the eve of National Day, many families appeared with mats (like picnic). Haha.. We settled down near the rear of the rock area (you really dun see much in front). Machi was the first group, pushing the atmosphere up, followed by Zhou Chong Qing, Guo Pin Chao, FIR, KOne and 183 club. (i hope i din miss anybody out =P)
Faye seems to be having problems with her voice. *Shrugs* i've heard her pitch trailing off quite a few times, and my mom agrees that she seemed breathless. Faye take care of ur voice yea? =)
Emelyn perked up at the sight of FIR =P
We've heard 5566's new song. Many people agreed that their new song sounded a bit like a New Year song. But Meiyi insisted that it'll sound much much nicer after subsequent listens. Well, fans. HAha..
I wasn't really ballistic when 183 came out (well my mom was there) =P. but me and meiyi went forward to catch a better glimpse of Mingdao. We could be seen moving from side to side as he moved and the camera man blocked him. lol. wad a sight...
Lex din go airport, neither did Jas and Lixin went to the hotel. So my letter's still with me =(. We made our way towards the back of the stage but did not managed to get close. Many fans were lurking around the vans, waiting for their dearest idols. Ramps were around, hence we conclude that the clean white vans are going into the muddy field to fetch the stars out. I pleaded my fren to help me pass my letter to him, for i wasn't going to let my effort go down the drain. I hope he gets it. =) thanx weilin n frens! =)
Mingdao, seems like we're not fated to meet now.. Perhaps we shall meet later when the time is much ripe-er k? =)
